The Indian Retail
School is supported by the Pearl Academy of
Fashion (India's premier fashion institute).
The Pearl Academy of Fashion, under the leadership
of A.K.G. Nair, is the first institute in India
to introduce fashion retail specific programmes
in association with LDT Nagold, Germany, the
largest and most prestigious retail management
institute in Europe. The Pearl Academy of Fashion
has also been associated with Nottingham Trent
University, UK, for fashion, textile and design
related programmes and International College
of Professional Photography (ICCP), Australia,
for photography related programmes
The academy has not only attained national and
international repute for its pre-eminent status
as an industry oriented, state-of-the-art training
center but it is the first fashion institute
in India to be certified under ISO-9001:2000.

The European Retail Academy (ERA) acts as a virtual platform and as an inititor of workshops / seminars / conferences to bring more transparency about retail - research and retail - education at universities or universities of applied sciences. ERA promotes the international transfer of know - how between business on the one side and universities at the other side.
