Structure
The Post- Graduate Programme in Visual Merchandising & Store Design is a one year programme that has three levels, constituting of 700 hours of contact classes and 380 hours of project work. The classes will be conducted 6 days in a week in each trimester except in the last trimester where the student devotes majority time for project work.

    Students will undergo Internship Project in retail organizations focusing on various aspects of Visual Merchandising.

    The project work should demonstrate extensive knowledge in the selected area with a critical approach and a clear understanding of the relevant business research methods and the ability to use and apply these methods.

    The performance of the students will be continuously assessed during the internship period and the students have to submit a project report and give presentations to a panel.

    Internship is an integral part of the programme and no student will be exempted from this. A certain degree of flexibility is inevitable in the arrangements with regard to internships.

How do you get selected?
If based on your application, you are found eligible, you will need to qualify in an entrance examination conducted by Indian Retail School, followed by an interview. Admission is based strictly on merit, judged from your performance in the written examination and interview.
